We were (kind of) homeless for four days

We, three, enjoyed a nice long weekend- buying and selling houses.

On Friday afternoon we accepted an offer on our house. We  Corey had been negotiating since Wednesday with the buyers and they finally accepted our firm price, thank the Lord! I was enjoying a nice pedicure when Corey called to tell me that we would be homeless unless we found and agreed on a house- which to date, had been impossible. We had looked at around 30 houses and hated them all. So, we were on high alert for the perfect house. Our realtor (Corey's Dad) sent me a listing to a house that had just been put on the market at the same hour that we gave a verbal agreement on our house. There was only one picture on the listing, but I agreed to meet Corey and Rick at the house after my pedicure was over. I pulled up and LOVED the outside, but didn't want to get my hopes up- something that we've learned from experience. Realtors must use Photoshop and wide angles on most of the virtual tours because usually we are vastly dissapointed as soon as we walk through the front door. Many times, we would pull up to the house, put it in reverse and pull right back out. Yeah, there are some real dumps out there. After touring the house and loving everything we decided to sleep on it and see what we thought in the morning. Saturday morning we decided that we still liked it and wanted our family to see it on Monday. So, after a nice breakfast at Cracker Barrel (YUM) we all went to see the house again. Long story short- we decided we still loved it and put an offer on it and after a little back and forth we now have a house!! YAY! We're all so excited and ready for the move. We're all a little nervous because we're supposed to close on our current house and the new house on the same day, so we're hoping that everything goes smoothly.
